MintSky privacy

Effective October 7, 2026. This page describes the native MintSky app by Below Zero Productions. The website has a separate website privacy policy.

Data on your devices

The app stores your personal access token in Apple Keychain and station settings and cached weather in local device storage. It shares station setup and readings with your paired Apple Watch using Apple WatchConnectivity. Widgets read shared local settings and cached weather. The app does not request GPS location or create a Below Zero account.

Requests to WeatherFlow

To obtain station observations, forecasts, and history, the app sends your station or device identifiers and personal access token to WeatherFlow over HTTPS. WeatherFlow also receives normal connection information, such as your IP address. Its own privacy policies and retention practices apply to those requests. Your credentials are not sent to a Below Zero weather server.

Analytics and advertising

The app includes no advertising, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK. Below Zero Productions does not operate an app weather-data backend. Apple may handle App Store purchases and platform diagnostics under its own settings and policies.

Your choices

You can revoke your token through Tempest Data Authorizations, or replace it in app Settings. Removing an app may leave Keychain items on the device; revoke the token to prevent further use. Sample weather lets you explore without providing credentials.

For privacy questions, contact Below Zero Productions through belowz.com. Do not include your access token.
